Commitment to a Ragging Free Environment
Ragging is an unacceptable behavior on the campus of the C.S.I. College of Nursing, Nagercoil. It is illegal according to the law of the land to commit, participate in, abet or propagate “ragging”
Our college is dedicated to create a nurturing and securing environment where the students can pursue their education without fear. Adhering to the University Grants Commission (UGC) “Curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions (Regulation 2016)” and “Indian Nursing Council Regulations”, our campus maintains a strict no- tolerance policy towards Ragging.

Anti Ragging pamphlets and resources are readily available to students to educate them on their rights and the support systems in place. Anti ragging posters are displayed on notice board
Counseling Services
We offer free counseling sessions throughout the year, providing a non- judgmental space for students to express their concerns and frustrations.
Surveillance
Strategically placed CCTV cameras across the campus help in early detection of any unruly behavior.
Active Anti Ragging Committee
Our Anti Ragging Committee, comprising head of the institution, faculty members, SNA advisor, police administration, NGO, parent representatives, and, student representatives, actively work to spread awareness about the detrimental effects of ragging.
Strict Penal Action
Student who indulges in any form of ragging will be subjected to penal action as per provisions of law.
Expulsion
The student will be expelled from the college as detailed in the law concerned and as per Honorable Supreme Court of India directions in this regard
Disciplinary Measures
Any violation of this prohibition will lead to stringent disciplinary action by the college authorities. Any other items not specifically covered in this prospectus will be decided by governing body of college.
