
Red Ribbon Club
The Red Ribbon Club at CSI College of Nursing, Nagercoil is a youth-driven campus initiative that spreads awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention and promotes voluntary blood donation. Working closely with the NSS unit, our student volunteers act as peer educators, breaking down myths, encouraging safe practices, and building a caring, well-informed campus community.
Our Objectives
What the Red Ribbon Club works towards on campus
Heighten risk perception among youth and raise awareness on HIV/AIDS prevention.
Promote regular voluntary blood donation among students and staff.
Train student volunteers as peer educators to guide fellow youth.
Dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding HIV/AIDS through open dialogue.
Encourage safe, healthy lifestyle choices within the campus community.
