
Junior Red Cross
The Junior Red Cross (JRC) unit at CSI College of Nursing, Nagercoil nurtures the spirit of humanitarian service among students. Guided by the Seven Fundamental Principles of the Red Cross Movement, our members are trained in first aid, health awareness, and disaster preparedness, and take part in community service that carries the values of care and compassion beyond the classroom.
Our Objectives
What the Junior Red Cross unit works towards on campus
Inculcate the basic concepts of health, hygiene, and self-care among students.
Instil the value of social service and selfless care for the community.
Train members in first aid, disaster preparedness, and emergency response.
Encourage national and international friendship and understanding among youth.
Promote voluntary blood donation and other humanitarian outreach activities.
Build leadership, teamwork, and a lifelong spirit of voluntary service.
